Restoring dignity, strengthening justice
A survivor-centered approach to healing, empowerment, and community transformation.
Through our Nani Kama Mama program, Angaza Mission addresses Gender-Based Violence (GBV) using a holistic, survivor-centered model that focuses on healing, justice, and lasting empowerment. We work closely with communities, institutions, and survivors to break cycles of violence and restore hope.
We offer trauma counseling, mental health care, and safe spaces where GBV survivors, including children, can begin their healing journey in dignity and safety.
We conduct sensitization campaigns and community workshops that challenge GBV norms, educate on rights, and promote prevention through open dialogue and advocacy.
We walk with survivors through legal processes, linking them with legal aid, law enforcement, and institutions to ensure perpetrators are held accountable.
We empower survivors through skills training, mentorship, and access to sustainable livelihoods like farming and market initiatives, restoring confidence and independence.
We build networks of peer support and engage community champions to foster accountability, prevent GBV, and shift harmful norms at the grassroots level.
We extend support to incarcerated women and children, offering emotional care, basic needs, and meaningful moments like birthday celebrations to restore dignity.
